Description
This IFSM-accredited course provides fire risk assessors, health & safety professionals, and owners of low to medium risk premises with the knowledge and practical skills to understand and apply the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations (DSEAR).
The course focuses on real-world DSEAR scenarios, enabling delegates to identify dangerous substances, recognise when DSEAR applies, understand zoning principles, and implement proportionate, risk-based control measures—while clearly understanding competence limits and when specialist advice is required.
This is not a certificate of attendance. Certification is awarded only on successful completion of a formal exam and a practical DSEAR risk assessment exercise.
Successful delegates receive an IFSM-accredited certificate, confirming competence in DSEAR awareness and low–medium risk DSEAR assessment.
Successful delegates receive an IFSM-accredited certificate, confirming they have successfully completed training and assessment in DSEAR awareness and low–medium risk DSEAR risk assessment.
