Our ADL Health & Safety Fire Door Inspection Course provides the information required for anyone involved in fire door checks.
If you or anyone you know is responsible for any fire doors such as health & safety officers at:
- Hospitals
- Factories
- Shopping Centres
- Schools or Universities
- Social Housing
- Restaurants
or any other buildings or institutions, our Fire Door Inspection Course is for you.
Buildings are designed and compartmentalised to delay the spread of a fire from one area to another with fire doors, whilst still allowing the flow of traffic around the building. In a fire, when closed fire doors form a barrier to stop the spread of fire and when opened they provide a means of escape. A well designed, regulation timber fire door which has been fitted correctly and maintained sufficiently will be able to delay the spread of fire and smoke without causing too much hindrance to the movement of people in the building.
The Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022 came into force on 23/1/2023. Regulation 10 requires that the responsible person must provide information regarding fire doors to residents and undertake fire door checks in certain premises and keep records.
Our ADL Health & Safety Fire Door Inspection Course provides the information required for anyone involved in fire door checks. Delegates will have an in depth understanding of the current regulations and the knowledge and skills to check fire doors in workplaces and social housing.
Our course is fully accredited with assessment and provides books and certification plus fire door check templates.
Our course will help you understand your responsibilities and assist with the provision of information and how to properly check fire doors. The IFSM accredited course can be delivered by a member of our team at your workplace or virtually via Teams to all your employees that may be involved in the checking of fire doors.
